Judging Criteria

Art will be judged  by the following criteria:  (The importance, or weight, of the criteria in judging is shown in parentheses at the end of each item.)

Did the artist:

  1. Realistically portray something related to the  trial, competition or student activity at the competition? (40%)
  2. Make the art interesting by depicting the courtroom scene, participants or their  behavior? (40%)
  3. Communicate the essence of the legal proceeding or competition activity through the art? (20%)
     

 

Contest Rules

Schools will enter each individual competitor and participants will compete for individual honors rather than awards by school.
 
Any art submitted may be used in school publications or any other school purpose.
 
Students participating in the competition agree to publication or reprinting by The Indiana High School Mock Trial of any art submitted by a student in connection with this competition.

All art must be submitted by March 1st.
